The site on which the church is located has revealed a Merovingian necropolis (discovered in the 1980s along its walls).
A pre-Romanesque building preceded the Romanesque-style church, as evidenced by the remains on the northern side of the nave.
This same nave, called "paneled", has ribbed vaults (dated to the end of the Gothic period).
The building also has a vaulted apse called "cul-de-four".
At the level of the facade of the church (which dates like the bedside from the XNUMXth century) and its magnificent Romanesque portal, the carved tympanum represents Adam and Eve near the Tree of Knowledge. We also see the apostles James, Paul and Peter as well as two pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela.
Another portal, also remarkable, is at the level of the south aisle of the church, in the Flamboyant Gothic style (late XNUMXth to early XNUMXth century).
