Welcome to Annie's place! Originally from the Aspe Valley in the Pyrenees, Annie and her family have always raised their herd in the purest tradition. For more than 50 years, they have practiced transhumance. Annie perpetuates and develops the family heritage with her herd of Basco-Béarnaise, from the mountains to the Gironde. Thus, from October to June, the ewes graze every afternoon in Entre-deux-Mers. In the evening, they return to the sheepfold, built entirely in wood for the welfare of the animals. From June to October, they travel to the Aspe Valley in Sarrance at the foot of the Aran rock. This all-wooden sheepfold respects the environment and the herd. Another curiosity of this exploitation: the refining cellar is located in an old stone quarry. To visit !
